U.S. Secret Service -- Letter 6/26/97

June 26, 1997

3801 Connecticut Avenue, NW
#136

Philip C. Leadroot, S.A.
U.S. Secret Service
Washington Field Office
Washington, DC 20036

Dear Mr. Leadroot:

This will advise the U.S. Secret Service in advance that I plan to forward to the chief White House Counsel (Charles F.C. Ruff, Esq.) a copy of the letter dated May 20, 1996 addressed to the U.S. Secret Service (Philip C. Leadroot, S.A.).

I continue to believe that any statements by the District of Columbia Office of Corporation Counsel that tend to prove that my belief system (termed "paranoid" by the law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld) is long-held and genuine is material to the defense of any specific intent crime.

This will also further advise that, by order dated June 24, 1997, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals has granted the District's motion to file its brief in Freedman v. D.C. Department of Human Rights, no. 96-CV-961, no later than July 25, 1997.

Sincerely,

Gary Freedman

cc: Charles F.C. Ruff, Esq. (The White House)
