Akin Gump: Office Mates

Two paralegals at the law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld shared a second-floor office at the firm in 1988 and perhaps beyond: Jesse Raben and Philip G. Feigen. They worked in the firm's Labor Practice Group and were assigned to Eastern Airlines litigation. Both individuals are now practicing attorneys. Another paralegal, Stacey Schaar, once referred to them as "the two monkeys."

Mr. Feigen worked a lot of overtime hours; I remember working over the entire weekend of August 13-14, 1988 on Eastern Asset Transfer Litigation that commenced on August 15, 1988 (the birthday of both Napoleon Buonaparte and Vernon Jordan, Jr., Esq.). David P. Callett, Esq. was a senior attorney on Eastern litigation. I remember digesting an Eastern deposition transcript that weekend.

Here is Mr. Feigen's contact information:

Can you believe my memory? I also remember having lunch with Michael Wilson, Esq. (Morgan Lewis & Bockius) and Craig Dye at a Thai restaurant on P Street on Tuesday August 16, 1988. Yes, I remember that. A mind like a steel trap!

I remember Craig making a comment about U.S. Congressmen: "They spend their time fucking their pages." Craig was a sex-minded guy.
