Akin Gump -- Disbarred Attorney -- Brendan V. Sullivan, Esq.

Brendan V. Sullivan, Esq. is a nationally-prominent criminal lawyer; he represented Oliver North in the Iran/Contra matter in the late 1980s. John D. Cline, Esq. represented Michael X. Morrell -- a former Akin Gump attorney -- in his disbarment proceedings before the D.C. Court of Appeals.

A Williams & Connolly partner, David Kendall, Esq., represented former President Bill Clinton in his Senate Impeachment trial.

Senior CBS News correspondent, Rita Braver -- a colleague of Martha Teichner's (Wellesley College, 1969) -- is married to Williams & Connolly partner, Robert Barnett, Esq., who is also a publishing agent. Several years ago (2005) I sent an email to Mr. Barnett requesting that he serve as my agent with respect to securing the publication of my book, Significant Moments. Mr. Barnett declined to represent me, in a courteous reply.
