California Anti-Mobbing Bill -- 2003

In February 2003 an anti-mobbing bill was introduced in the California legislature.  The following link is a PDF version of the proposed law:

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger had originally supported a bill that would criminalize paranoid schizophrenia.  Because of the reported high incidence of paranoid schizophrenia among Jews it was feared the bill would disproportionately affect California's Jewish population and might be challenged on constitutional grounds.  Governor Schwarzenegger now supports legal remedies for persons subjected to workplace abuse, including mobbing.   The governor's critics claim that Schwarzenegger was simply kow-towing to Jewish interests.
