To whom it may concern:
This is to serve as a letter of recommendation for Gary Freedman. Mr. Freedman and I worked together at the Franklin Institute from January, 1976 until January, 1979. During this time I was managing editor of Biological Effects of Nonionizing Electromagnetic Radiation, and Mr. Freedman assisted me with the abstracting, editing, and proofreading, and layout of the journal. Because we worked together on the daily production activities of the journal, I am familiar with Mr. Freedman's abilities.
Mr. Freedman is an intelligent, creative, and capable person who undertakes and completes all projects in a professional and conscientious manner. He is thoroughly familiar with all aspects of the publication process. As a writer and abstractor, he is able to write clear, concise abstracts and news articles while taking care that the tone of the writing not distort the original ideas. He has a critical eye for detail that makes his editing and proofreading skills extremely accurate. His strong sense of graphic design is an asset in journal layout. Mr. Freedman is conscious of deadlines and will work with little or no supervision to produce good final copy.
In addition, Mr. Freedman's spirit of cooperation and his easy manner make him enjoyable to work with. I know he will bring a sense of dedication to any job he undertakes.
I will be happy to provide additional information that may be needed.
Sincerely yours,
Elena P. Saboe

I had a problem with same person you were talking about in an older post - in a law firm. I would be curious to speak to you about it and compare experiences. The person in question was a female supervisor. I wouldn't want to further communicate about the issue in a blog but would be great if we could talk via email, yahoo messenger, skype etc.
Condolence messages
