Dear Mr. Freedman:

Thank you for sending us your resume seeking employment with our firm.

Unfortunately, at the present time, we do not have any positions available for which you are qualified. However, we will maintain your resume in our active file due to the fact that when openings do occur, it is often necessary to fill them quickly.

Thank you for your interest in Kirkland & Ellis.

While I was on extended unemployment compensation (June - November 1992) I was required to send out three resumes per week to prospective employers (total 78 job inquiries). I sent resumes to law firms inquiring into a paralegal position. I did not get a single interview.
