Edward S. Knight, NASDAQ General Counsel, traces his legal roots to a lesson he learned from a fellow Texan, longtime political rainmaker Robert S. Strauss, who was his mentor during his years in private practice at Akin Gump. Early on, Strauss handed Knight a thick legal file and said, “This isn’t just a legal brief.
