Claire Hirshfield, Ph.D.: Still Doing Important Work

Claire Hirshfield, Ph.D. was one of my history teachers at Penn State-Abington in the early 1970s.

Conspiracy Theories: What (Can or Do) YOU Believe?
Dr. Claire Hirshfield, Professor Emerita, European History
Fridays September 24, October 1, 8 and 15, register online
12:30 – 2:00 p.m.
Cost: $30

Conspiracy theorists are people who see sinister plots everywhere, often operating as a motivating if undetected force in historical events. Rarely have such theories proved valid or even probable, yet they continue to maintain an on-going attraction to “true believers” of all political persuasions.

In a four part series of lectures and discussions, we will examine several theories, tracing consequences in modern history:

• Protocols of the Elders of Zion
• Stab in the Back
• Pearl Harbor Attack
• 9/11 Truth Movement

This course is one that will keep you on the edge of your seat wondering what you can and choose to believe!

Dr. Hirshfield: you need to video this and put it on YouTube.
