Musical Nepotism: All in the Family!

Boris and Evelyne Berezovsky, father and daughter, perform the Mozart double piano concerto. Mozart wrote the piece to allow him to play duets with his sister, Maria Anna -- "Nannerl."  Of course, when you play with a family member you make certain concessions, certain musical nuances to please one another.

Interview with Boris Berezovsky:

Evelyne Berezovsky, piano

Evelyne was born in Moscow in 1991. She started piano at the age of 5 and joined the class of Prof. Ilana Davids at the Purcell School of Music two years later. This year Evelyne will continue her studies with Prof. Hamish Milne at the Royal Academy of Music in London and with Elisso Virsaladze -- who was her father's piano teacher -- at Moscow Conservatoire.
