The major client for which I worked at the law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, Eastern Airlines, filed for bankruptcy protection on March 9, 1989. I was hired as a full-time legal assistant with benefits effective August 1, 1989.

Attached you will find copies of your mid year evaluations. Please read through them at your convenience, remembering that the purpose of the evaluation process is to provide the legal assistant with feedback on their job performance and to give any constructive criticism that the attorney feels will assist the legal assistant in doing a better job.
We are in the process of scheduling the conferences that were requested by some of you at the beginning of the evaluation process. If anyone else would like to speak to either of us or any of the attorneys with whom you work, please contact us and we will assist you in setting up a meeting.
