Mia Weissenberg Fram, the daughter of Carol W. Fram and Dr. David H. Fram of Reston, Va., is to be married today to Rabbi Joshua Michael Davidson, a son of Dr. Gail S. Davidson and Rabbi Jerome K. Davidson of Great Neck, N.Y. The bridegroom's father is to perform the ceremony at the Northern Virginia Hebrew Congregation in Reston.
Mrs. Davidson, 24, is studying to be a cantor at the School of Sacred Music in New York, part of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. She is also the student cantor at Temple Sinai in Washington. She graduated summa cum laude from Duke University. Her father is a psychiatrist in Washington. Her mother is the guidance counselor at the Herndon Center, a middle school in Herndon, Va.
Rabbi Davidson, 35, is the senior rabbi of Temple Beth El of Northern Westchester, in Chappaqua, N.Y. He is also the chairman of the committee on justice, peace and religious liberties of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, which is based in New York. He graduated from Princeton. He received a master's degree in Hebrew letters from the Los Angeles campus of the Hebrew Union College, and was ordained at its New York campus.
The bridegroom's mother is the assistant curator of drawings, prints and graphic design at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York. His father is the senior rabbi of Temple Beth-El of Great Neck.
