Anatomy Lesson or Something Else?
Middle finger (digitus médius and more commonly digitus tertius)
On one occasion, while driving his car, Freedman was spying on the passenger riding in the automobile ahead of him, who displayed the digitus médius. According to Freedman, "this may have indicated" some "hostility" by the passenger.
