Philip C. Leadroot
Special Agent
U.S. Secret Service
Washington Field Office

Dear Mr. Leadroot:

Copies of the following recent communications are forwarded for your information.

1.  Letter to the Office of U.S. Attorney, dated 9/22/95

2.  Letter to the FBI, dated 9/22/95

3.  Letter to U.S. Department of Justice, dated 9/23/95

That any person should have the luxury of a "pre-fab" insanity defense is outrageous.  That a John Hinckley or a Francisco Martin Duran might have had a pre-fab" insanity defense created by partners of one of the most prestigious law firms in the country--a law firm that includes as a member a close friend of the President of the United States--is absolutely chilling.

Incidentally, the psychiatrist who reportedly made the determination that I am potentially violent, Gertrude R. Ticho, M.D., is a nationally-renowned psychiatrist and psychoanalyst.  Were I to commit a crime of violence, Akin Gump has seen to it the that Office of U.S. Attorney wouldn't have a chance of getting a conviction.

Sincerely,

Gary Freedman
