RE: Ethics Investigation of William D. Brown, Ph.D.
1025 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Washington, DC
Dear Ms. Ranslow:
Enclosed are a collection of letters relating to the above-referenced matter that I have recently submitted to the District of Columbia Board of Medicine and the U.S. Social Security Administration.
The enclosed letters comprise:
1. letter to Social Security Administration dated 8/20/93 re: former employer's action of fabricating evidence that it had determined, on the basis of consultations with two mental health professionals, that I was not suitable for employment; enclosures
2. letter to D.C. Medical Board dated 8/20/93 detailing my belief that various mental health professionals had been in communication with my former employer
3. letter to D.C. Medical Board dated 8/23/93 re: Social Security Disability Notice of Award
4. letter to D.C. Medical Board dated 8/26/93 re: GW Medical Center diagnosis of bi-polar disorder and treating psychiatrist's recommendation that I be placed on medication; enclosures
5. letters to D.C. Medical Board dated 9/7/93 re: GW Medical Center initial assessment chart dated 9/24/92 that largely ignored the issue of paranoia; enclosures
I direct your specific attention to the letter to the D.C. Medical Board dated 9/7/93. The action of Dr. Cuenco (a GW psychiatry resident) in ignoring evidence of what should have appeared to be systematized delusions parallels the action of Dr. William Brown in ignoring evidence of seemingly paranoid delusions.
I hope the enclosed documents will assist you in your investigation.
Sincerely,
Gary Freedman
