Maryellen Connor, Esq.
Malaby & Bradley, LLC
New York, NY
Dear Ms. Connor:
There is circumstantial evidence that I am engaged in the commission of a felony against the government of the United States. There is circumstantial evidence that I have used The George Washington University to help me defraud the government of the United States of hundreds of thousands of dollars in Social Security Disability benefits.
I was employed as a paralegal at the law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld from 1988 to 1991 during your tenure as an associate. We worked together on toxic tort litigation for billing partner David P. Callet, Esq. in the late summer and fall of 1991, in the period before my job termination on October 29, 1991. Another paralegal who worked on the same litigation was Robert Dillon.
I request that you disclose to the FBI Washington Field Office any information about my employment at Akin Gump that may be pertinent to the concerns of federal law enforcement relating to my filing a fraudulent claim for U.S. Social Security disability benefits.
You may contact the Washington Field Office of the FBI at 202 278-2000.

"3. In early August 1991 I was assigned to the chemical analysis phase of the Hoechst coding project. Late in the afternoon on about Thursday August 1, 1991 Chris Robertson advised me that she had spoken with attorney Mary Ellen Connor about my working on Hoechst chemical analysis and that Mary Ellen Connor had said that she was “enthusiastic” about my working on the project. In early August 1991 there was a considerable backlog of work on the chemical analysis phase of the Hoechst project."
