Kristallnacht, Mobbing, and an Akin Gump Consultant

In workplace mobbing a baseless campaign is launched to oust an employee.  The effort is not stopped by the employer.

On a national level, Kristallnacht, a violent attack against German Jews carried out in November 1938 with the encouragement and acquiescence of the German government led to a surge in Jews emigrating from the country.  The majority went to other European countries, the U.S. and Palestine, and at least 14,000 made it to Shanghai, China.

Laurence Henry Tribe (born October 10, 1941) is a professor of constitutional at Harvard Law School and the Carl M. Loeb University Professor at Harvard University. He also serves as a consultant for the law firm of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld.  Professor Tribe was born in Shanghai to parents of Eastern European Jewish descent.  Ironic that Professor Tribe should become associated with Akin Gump!
