On Language, Music, and Metaphor: A Story to Top David Gregory's
Well, I have a story to top that one, Mr. Gregory. Years ago, I had an occasion to play the violin in the East Room of the White House in front of President Nixon. Later, Nixon said: "He plays four notes on the violin, and he thinks he's Jascha Heifetz!" Now, everybody thinks I can only play four notes on the violin.
