I am writing you because I was unable to contact you by telephone.  You are not eligible to apply for Medical Assistance (Medicaid) because you have too much money in your savings account.  The resource limit for Medicaid eligibility is $2600.00.  Therefore, you are over resources for current Medicaid eligibility.

When your resources are below $2600.00, please contact me so that we can apply for Medicaid.  If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at the telephone number listed below.
