My Brush With Greatness
Saturday afternoon I got a haircut at my regular barber in downtown Washington, DC. While I was sitting in the barber chair, the barber next to me said to his customer, "Have you seen Justice Stevens lately?" The customer, an older gentleman, said, "Who?" The barber said, "Justice Stevens, have you seen Justice Stevens lately?" The customer laughed and said, "No, he's too young for me."
Then my barber said, "Paul Stevens? Are you talking about Paul Stevens? You know he's a tremendous Bears fan. He loves the Redskins, too. But he's a tremendous Bears fan."
I wonder who they were talking about?
I wonder who cuts Bob Strauss's hair?
