Ludwig Van Beethoven: December 16, 1770 to March 26, 1827
On April 8, 1817 the Court of Appeals decided in Beethoven's favor and appointed him co-guardian of the composer's nephew, Karl. Beethoven had more luck with the Court of Appeals than I ever did.
My oral argument before the D.C. Court of Appeals was held on December 16, 1997 -- Beethoven's birthday.
