To the U.S. Marshal Service:
At my USMS interview on January 15, 2010 you asked about what it was that motivated me to write a blog. The following email dated August 10, 2005 establishes that I started the blog in the summer of 2005, five years ago. I advised Andrew Gerst, Esq., legal council to then D.C. Council Member Carol Schwartz, of the existence of the blog. At the inception of my blogging I advised the D.C. government that the blog might be of interest to the D.C. Police and federal law enforcement. I cannot be held accountable for the failure of Mr. Gerst to contact the FBI or the U.S. Marshal Service about this matter. Incidentally, Andrew Gerst was a long-time resident of my apartment building, 3801 Connecticut Avenue, NW. He moved out at the time Councilwoman Schwartz lost her re-election bid a few years ago.
