Dear Mr. Leadroot:

I submit on the enclosed computer disc the latest version of my autobiography, earlier versions of which I had previously sent to you. I believe the document is now of publishable quality, and I plan to contact agents and publishers. Of course, I have no control over how a publisher might choose to promote a book, or what documents, letters, or issues of public interest a publisher might deem useful to publicize in order to generate sales interest.

Oddly enough, there is a connection between persons involved in the Whitewater matter and Sigmund Freud. Peter Straus, a close friend and business partner of Vernon Jordan's (and the husband of Marcia Lewis, the mother of Monica Lewinsky), was the prot‚g‚ of Edward Bernays (1891-1995). Bernays was the nephew of Sigmund Freud, and was considered the father of the field of public relations.

Just a few years ago, Marcia Lewis published a book about opera, specifically, about "The Three Tenors." A few years ago Straus and Jordan attempted to purchase radio station WGMS here in Washington--that's a classical music station.

Sincerely,

Gary Freedman
